RP Log - A Farm in the Desert?
((PG... no spoilers...))
Mina started towards the farm after transforming out of her sailor fuku. The farm was closest to her and there were a good number of people there. Maybe she could find out what this place was. Holding Artemis in her arms, she circled around the barn...
And walked right into the back of a boy with long hair.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" she said.
Duo winced when the blonde girl collided with him. Holding his side for a moment, he nodded.
"It's okay," he said. "You alright?" He looked down at the cat. What a strange mark on it's forehead.
"Yeah, I'm okay," Mina replied. "Are you?" She looked at him, concerned at the way he reacted.
"I'm alright," he said with a small smile. "Just finishing up working around here." He looked at her. "You're new, aren't you?"
"Huh?" Mina blinked. "Oh, yeah. I am." She smiled and held out one hand for him. "Minako Aino."
"Duo Maxwell." Duo shook her hand. "You have a place to stay, yet?"
"Place to stay...?" Mina looked past him at the village. "You all live here?"
"Well... not really." Duo turned and looked over the village as well. "It's kinda hard to explain, but we've been staying in the huts. Someone's been assigning them to us... and then assigning us work shifts here in the farm." He shrugged. "It's something to do, at least... and we get the food from the place."
"Oh." Mina looked a bit surprised. "Have you been here long?"
"Only a couple weeks," Duo said. "Come on... I'll show you around."
