Aron is only vaguely inclined to be helpful and spends the majority of its time sniffing for more metal to consume mine. Of course, if Minako goes into the mining industry, it would be quite useful, but otherwise, it seems to have little motivation to do what she would like it to do. On the plus side, she gets lots of rocks and precious stones as presents.

Artemis

Meowth is slightly forgetful and lazy, but when Minako finds herself in trouble, it pulls itself together and becomes protective and caring. It constantly picks on Minako about her own laziness, but often times is seen comforting her or going out of its way to try and help her as best it can. It also has a knack for technology.

Starly is a cheerful friendly sort and gets along well with the other bird Pokemon native to Union. ...Very well. Minako may eventually discover that Starly is well known at the Breeding Center for surreptitiously dropping off eggs at the doorway on weekends.

Belle

Chingling is a shy and hesitant Pokemon and is often frightened by things that it's unfamiliar with. Its usual reaction is to hide itself somewhere inside of Minako's hair or clothing. Unfortunately, the fact that it constantly jingles makes hiding a relatively difficult task.

Bugsy

Caterpie appears to be apathetic towards most things and only really pays attention when the idea of food is involved. It's most often found spacing out and staring into midair; actually, it's daydreaming about what life will be like after evolution.

Dragalge was a bit scrawny in its younger days and now overcompensates by constantly trying to make itself look more intimidating than it is. It practices glares in the mirror and has considered attaching seaweed-like fabric to itself to spread out around it. In truth, it's not that tough...

Oscar

Lillipup feels that a life spent in a bubble of cleanliness might as well not be lived at all. Bathing is unnecessary, and it spends its life investigating interesting new scents and fascinating new substances to roll around in. It does draw the line at fecal matter, but otherwise, its rule of thumb is that puddles are meant to be splashed. It's quite friendly and often attempts to play with anyone in the vicinity.

Skitty has a minor obsession with hygiene to the point that its favorite activity and hobby is to groom itself. Its fur is always sparkling clean and any sign of dirt or matting in any form causes it to fall into a panic. It dislikes being touched by strangers for this reason and will only allow Minako to handle it. ...Once it's licked her hands to make sure they're clean, of course.

Pinkie

Slowbro is not actually slow at all! When it comes to normal Slowbros, that is. At least, that is what it would like others to believe. Often launching into philosophical debate about such things as pokéxistentialism, the meaning of pokémon life and the like, often what it has to say is utter nonsense. But it looks and sounds so smart!

Twitch

Piloswine is a bit of a hypochondriac and dislikes the sensation of pain, illness, or any discomfort of any sort. Quite kind-hearted as well, it also assumes that anybody who so much as sniffles is coming down with a deadly illness that can only be resolved through immediate rest and the application of warmth. Much of the time, the only source of warmth is its own body... Sitting on people is acceptable behavior, right?

Rolly

Sealeo is a happy-go-lucky Pokémon always looking to make people laugh. It often has trouble taking things like training and battles seriously, and often likes to prank others to try and make them laugh. Watch out for that sheet of ice!

Noser

Houndoom is a sniffer. It likes to sniff everything. Anything and everything. If it's within reach of it's nose? It will sniff it. Your bum? Sniffed. That room that's closed? It somehow appears in there and sniffs. Your milk? Sniffed, and now with a dog nose in it.

Punchy

Sawk likes to live up to his name. He loves to punch things, break things, and smash things. This can include any number of objects. Bricks, vases, plates, tables, chairs, iron bars, doors... Sawk is particularly unimpressed by doors, and will routinely walk through them fist first. However, he'll always apologize if he's scolded and endeavor not to do it again. For about an hour.

Feebas is a little slow-witted, but tries hard to impress. Often clumsy and often underestimated, it tends to think a bit lowly of itself. It will often follow other water types around, hoping they'll be friends with it, but tends to overstay its welcome. Surprisingly, when Feebas believes in itself, it can actually be quite impressive.

Ninja

Accelgor is very serious about its role as a Pokémon. It battles hard. It trains hard. It can be found standing in waterfalls for meditation or doing moves on the beach at sunset. It often tries to get Minako's other Pokémon to train with it. The results of this can be mixed.

Blade

Doublade is a strong believer in the Savior and sort of infatuated with the gods. It has a strong sense of faith, and can often be found preaching the gospel to others. Sometimes, it will attempt to do a sermon in the middle of town. However, anyone who doesn't understand PokéSpeak will have no clue what its saying.

Teddy

Ursaring is a very overbearing soul. It wants to make sure Minako has the best of the best, and goes out of its way to provide. Often by smashing lesser things until she's given the very best. Only the finest quality. Ever.

Dratini is a preener. Spending most of its time posing and making sure people only see its best side, it's a vain Pokémon concerned more with looks than training. The only way Minako is able to convince Dratini to train at all is to convince it that the training will help keep it in top toned form with a beach ready look.

Luv is in the air, and the Luvdisc population seems to have taken the idea to heart. Until Proposal Day the swarm will linger in the waterways of the Verdant Forest. They are obsessive matchmakers, trying to get anyone who’ll listen to accept romance into their life.
